Beautiful restaurant inside historic building and great views. I was very pleased to find this spot for lunch. I usually check other people's reviews and photos, and this one had really good comments and the food looked great. I tried the fresh juice (pineapple recovery) and it was delicious. We also ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and the mushroom frittata. The frittata was nicely presented but it was a little bland. The sandwich had great flavor but the meat portion was quite small. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The service was kind and professional. I'd love to go back.

Great location. We were enjoying the lovely view while seated outside under the umbrellas on the patio. The location was wonderful and dog-friendly. We had a light brunch, cool drinks, and a farmer's fruit basket in addition to breakfast. Cold basil rose mocha was good but I didn’t take a picture.

From start to finish, our Chef's Tasting experience was nothing short of incredible . Each dish was amazing, beautifully crafted to showcase the ingredients. Chef Luke's talent and attention to detail was evident in every stunning course, and the presentation was as gorgeous as the flavors were bold and balanced. It is not often that one finds a vegetarian tasting experience that is as celebratory of vegetables as this one. The service was impeccable—attentive, yet not overbearing and the restaurant, as well as the property on which it sits, is lovely and feels as if it is a world away from the bustle of downtown Seattle. I would highly recommend this restaurant and the Chef's Tasting menu. It made the celebration of my husband's birthday a truly special and memorable event.

I came in for a weekday lunch with my wife and it was amazing! Shout out to our server, Valerie, who took good care of us and Chef Kolpin for cooking us a tasty meal. We ordered some brussel sprouts and beets for appetizers, the steak salad and fish and chips for entrees, and had the poricini mushroom creme brulee for dessert. We also had the non alcoholic cocktails on their menus, which I can't remember the names of right now. Everything was excellent, presented beautifully, and fresh/hot. The ambience was low-key and classy as well, with soft jazz playing. Since it was a weekday lunch, the place was pretty empty so it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I'd definitely come back for dinner or one of the preset menu events that they have from time to time.

First time, but we will be back. Gorgeous settling in the woods of this old monetary. Inside is nicely decorated but outside views are unmatched. Be sure to visit in the daylight to really take advantage of the views. Food portions seem a little on the small side and minimal plating for the price but the meal was very fresh and tasty. I would think add potatoes or fresh fruit or something.

Perfect for a Sunday Brunch. Do make the reservation, even on a rainy day it was completely packed. The space is truly beautiful, tall arched windows overlooking St Edward State Park, quiet, pleasant interior. Service was a bit slow, but what's the hurry? We had time to enjoy the conversation and the view. The food was quite delicious, very good quality produce. I enjoyed my Smoked salmon sandwich, I'd say it even had a little too much salmon on it, so it was very rich, decadent. The Wague brunch burger was huge and juicy. And absolutely delicious fries. Good coffee. BRUCH DRESS CODE: Everyone was dressed very casually, since most people come straight from a hike. PARKING: Valet parking is available as well as a regular paid parking lot. Don't be confused by the 'Park pass needed' signs, day pass and parking payment is the same thing, just use any pay station and keep the ticket on your dash.

The Chef’s Tasting (only available Fridays and Saturdays) is phenomenal. We had the fall menu in November and the winter menu this week - both were seasonal, creative, and truly delicious. The 5 course menu starts with a few snacks and then proceeds through a pretty standard progression. The highlights are the surprising pairings (like Dungeness crab and Napa cabbage) and influences such as the Kalbi marinade for the steelhead and finger limes serving as the acidic pop. Chef Luke’s food is up there with the best restaurants in Seattle, and the ambience of the restaurant is lovely as well. Highly recommend - we’ll be back for another special occasion soon!

This place is romantic and wonderful!!! I wish it has been a little warmer so we could have sat on their gorgeous patio, but honestly the interior of this space is stunning. Huge windows, lush and inviting green velvet, classic and romantic feel while still being approachable and inviting to lots of different kinds of people. We had brunch here, had great service and enjoyed the food!
